If you run a business in the UAE, the next 60 days have two compliance deadlines that could cost you dearly if missed.
Deadline 1: Corporate Tax Return Filing
📅 September 30, 2026 — All UAE businesses with a financial year ending December 31, 2025. First full CT filing season in UAE history. No blanket extensions confirmed.
Late filing = AED 1,000 minimum penalty, escalating from there.
Deadline 2: VAT Input Tax Due Diligence
📅 October 1, 2026 — ALL VAT-registered businesses. FTA Decision No. 13 of 2026 makes supplier verification mandatory before input VAT recovery. A valid tax invoice alone is NO LONGER sufficient.
Miss the checks → lose the recovery. Supply chain connected to tax evasion → denied entirely.
What the Checklist Covers
- Corporate Tax filing readiness (18 items)
- VAT due diligence verification (15 items)
- Transfer Pricing documentation check
- QFZP qualifying income assessment
- Self-scoring system to assess your readiness
- Clear action items for each deadline
